COVID-19 has dramatically changed our lives, especially our work lives, throughout the world. The healthcare industry has been turned upside down and has altered our regulations, policies, procedures, protocols, and business models. Understanding these changes and having some flexibility as we alter our approach to leadership attributes can assist us in the “new normal.” We will explore these changes and view the different and ever-changing leadership style to manage and operate the community set forth in the Title 22 regulations.

This is a 10-hour course via Live-Stream. The course begins at 8am and ends at 6:30pm with a 30- minute lunch and 10-minute breaks relatively every hour but not held to.

This course covers current laws and regulations updates. Keeping up with the regulations, policies and procedures can be a daunting task for an administrator. This course is designed to update students on all the regulations that have changed as well as reviewing the important regulations that we face daily. It is extremely important to operate your communities according to Title 22 code of Regulations and the Health and Safety Code. Knowledge of these regulations and the changes/ updates are designed to keep residents and clients safe and to keep your communities compliant to avoid costly citations.

This course will also cover mandated reporter requirements and LGBTQ Inclusivity.

Participants will receive a downloadable Booklet that goes along with the class. It can be printed out or you may use it electronically. It must be available and accessible during the course.
